Connie Wang - SVP Marketing at Headspace

Connie is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Headspace, where she leads a team of marketers across D2C and B2B inclusive of brand, demand generation, lifecycle, product and solutions marketing, customer marketing, web and marketing technology. Connie is passionate about building purpose-driven teams, telling human centered stories, and connecting dots and people to drive impact, while furthering Headspace’s mission to become the lifelong guide to better mental health for everyone.

Prior to joining Headspace, Connie spent over a decade with LinkedIn, where she most recently served as the Senior Director, Global Brand Marketing. In this role, she leveraged the power of brand marketing and advertising to drive LinkedIn member growth and engagement. She also founded LinkedIn's Social Media Center of Excellence, served as the chief editor of the LinkedIn corporate blog and managed the growth of LinkedIn social media properties including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. Prior to LinkedIn, she led award-winning cause marketing campaigns at Yahoo!.

Connie has been recognized as a Marketer to Watch by Marketers that Matter, selected as AdAge 40 under 40, and honored as a First Mover Fellow with the Aspen Institute for leading innovative and inclusive marketing. Connie is currently a board member of the Stanford Asian Pacific American Alumni Club. Connie earned her Bachelor’s degree at University of Southern California and a Master’s degree at Stanford University.

Dana Marineau - CMO at Rakuten

Dana Marineau is Chief Marketing Officer at Rakuten where she is responsible for elevating the brand and evolving Rakuten into a first stop shopping destination. Dana oversees teams driving brand, creative, member growth, public relations, marketing analytics, and strategic partnerships.

Upon joining Rakuten in 2020, Dana built an in-house marketing team that independently produced and executed the company’s inaugural Super Bowl ad campaign, "High Stakes" featuring Hannah Waddingham, and subsequent Super Bowl spot, "Not So Clueless" starring Alicia Silverstone. Each integrated broadcast and digital campaign garnered tens of millions of views, as well as critical acclaim from both business and advertising media, which significantly grew brand awareness, site visits, new member sign-ups, and first-time sales. Additionally, Dana’s achieved high-profile milestones through partnerships with New York Fashion Week, Black In Fashion Council, Live Nation, and the Golden State Warriors as well as prominent figures such as Christian Siriano, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Khloe Kardashian, and NBA star Stephen Curry.

Dana’s leadership, expertise, and accomplishments have been recognized by Forbes Entrepreneurial CMO 50, Insider's Most Innovative CMOs, and Campaign’s CMO 50. Dana’s passion for a positive work culture, as well as creating innovative and inspirational marketing campaigns, has led to numerous team honors throughout her career, including 11 Cannes Lions, 13 Effies, and 11 Clios.

Zeynep Ozdemir CMO at Atlassian

Zeynep Inanoglu Ozdemir is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Atlassian. Zeynep joined Atlassian in 2023 and is responsible for the company’s marketing functions globally. Her team is focused on driving adoption of Atlassian’s products to unleash the power of teams everywhere.

Prior to Atlassian, Zeynep was CMO of Palo Alto Networks where she oversaw the company’s rapid expansion into multiple cybersecurity categories and pioneered the XDR category within cybersecurity. Named as one of the ‘top 100 women in tech leaders to watch’ in 2023 by WomenTech Network, Ozdemir holds a PhD in speech processing from Cambridge University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Harvard University. 

Laura Jones CMO at Instacart

Laura Jones is the Chief Marketing Officer at Instacart. In her role, Laura is responsible for shaping a cohesive brand, fueling the company’s growth, and leading the marketing organization. Since joining in June 2021, Laura has led a comprehensive brand identity refresh, launched the company’s first-ever integrated brand campaign, built out its Creative Studio, and developed a full-funnel in-house media team. Her work has been recognized by Ad Age, Adweek, the Clios, the Effies and she was featured in the Forbes Entrepreneurial CMOs 50 and Adweek Marketing Vanguard lists in 2023. Laura also serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Match Group and UNICEF USA.

Prior to Instacart, Jones spent six years at Uber, most recently as the Global Head of Marketing for its Rides business. At Uber, she built the global product marketing team from the ground up, spanning Uber’s whole product portfolio (Rides, Eats, Freight, etc). She previously worked at Google and Visa. She has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Government from Dartmouth.

Known as an intrapreneur who drives growth and excels at building the ‘next new thing,’ Minneapolis-based Kathy Hollenhorst is a long-time CMO, executive leader, and business coach. Kathy was CMO at Caribou Coffee and built a digital/consumer engagement division for Carlson—a $4B hospitality company expanding brands such as Seven Seas Cruises, TGIFridays, and Radisson hotels. She most recently owned/operated Creatis, a 150-person marketing services firm that became part of the 24 Seven family in 2021. As MTM Advisor & Chief Community Officer, Kathy is now leading the charge of building the ‘next new thing’ for the Marketers That Matter community.
