His Holiness the Dalai Lama is one of the great spiritual leaders of our time. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 for his non-violent struggle for the liberation of Tibet, has travelled to more than 67 countries, received over 150 awards and honors in recognition of his message of peace, inter-religious understanding, and compassion, and has authored or co-authored more than 110 books. Over the past 40 years, the Dalai Lama has engaged in a dialogue with scientists, mainly in the fields of psychology, neurobiology, quantum physics and cosmology, leading to an historic collaboration between Buddhist monks and world-renowned scientists in trying to help individuals achieve peace of mind.

This unique evening features a distinguished panel including:

Victor Chan – Victor has known the 14th Dalai Lama since 1972 (shortly after being taken hostage while traveling through Kabul). A physicist by training, Chan has travelled with the Dalai Lama across four continents. Those journeys, and many intimate conversations, resulted in two co-authored books. In 2005, Chan founded the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education which has played a key role in enabling the Vancouver School Board to be at the forefront of teaching compassion and mindfulness in schools.

Craig Kielburger – Craig Kielburger is a visionary social entrepreneur and a New York Times bestselling author of 12 books available in multiple languages. His contributions to social impact have earned him 15 honorary doctorates and degrees. Craig has founded and co-founded numerous charities and social enterprises. At Legacy+, alongside his team, Craig collaborates with visionaries to create large-scale movements and empower purpose-driven organizations. The organization is a leader in using AI for social entrepreneurship, enhancing the effectiveness of nonprofits, companies, and social enterprises and possess over 1,000 years of combined experience in designing, building, operating, and scaling movements to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges.
